Resol at the 62nd edition of the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2024

Resol returns to participate once again in the largest design furniture event: the Salone del Mobile in Milan, which will take place between April 16th and 21st. The Spanish company will present its new furniture collections in Hall 1, booth B09-B11.

The exhibition is a great opportunity to present to specialized and professional audiences the latest releases from furniture manufacturers. The Salone del Mobile in Milan connects brands like Resol with project specifications, architects, interior designers, and designers. For this reason, Resol has carefully selected those design collections that are innovative and can attract professionals seeking innovative and high-quality proposals for both indoor and outdoor furniture. In this approach, there is also room for the presentation of the Green Edition line of recycled and recyclable furniture, a clear commitment of the company that is truly committed to sustainability.

With over 60 years of experience, Resol is endorsed as a polypropylene transformer using injection technique. Their knowledge combined with constant investment in innovation has made Resol one of the most comprehensive and reliable options in the market. Some of these collections have been created by designers who understand the brand and have contributed to developing a distinctive, very Mediterranean, and functional language. Others have been developed internally by Resol Studio. These two approaches complement each other and greatly enrich the range offered by the company, both from its headquarters in Les Preses, Girona, and from its new subsidiaries in the United States and Mexico, which have been operational for a year now. The growth has effectively expanded its operational capacity.

Baobab: A New Configurable Table Collection

One of the novelties presented by Resol in Milan is the Baobab table collection, created by Resol Studio. Baobab is a new generation of configurable tables inspired by the African tree of the same name that can be adapted to both outdoor and indoor spaces. The table system is based on a polyethylene base structure manufactured using the rotational molding technique, and the tabletop, with rounded shapes and a beveled profile, rests on this base.

The Woody collection by Josep Lluscà expands with the addition of a lounge chair option.

One of Resol's best-selling collections is undoubtedly Woody, designed by Josep Lluscà. The family grows with the lounge chair version, a generous armchair that retains the same aesthetic of a slatted wooden chair back. The new lounge proposal has a width of 70 cm and the seat sits at a height of 39 cm, making it designed as a resting option.

Accompanying this new element is the option of a double cushion, for seat and backrest, offering an extra level of comfort. The design of the Woody collection stems from the work of complex curves and natural shapes such as that of a mercury drop or a pebble. The entire family exudes a subtly "vintage" feel and offers a balance between essential concepts like lightness, functionality, ergonomics, and environmental respect.

The stool joins Joan Gaspar's Bini collection

The Bini family grows with the addition of a new element: the stool. This collection, designed by Joan Gaspar for Resol, is presented in chair and lounge chair options, forming a set if desired with the option of a table or low table depending on the chair's height. Now the possibilities of furnishing a space are endless, as the addition of the stool completes the entire range.

The new Bini stool is available in two possible heights, for kitchen counters and bar counters, and follows the same aesthetic as the entire collection, inspired by cane chairs, retained in memory over the years, but revised. The Bini collection is comfortable and versatile. It is available in 6 trendy colors: dark gray, greenish gray, ivory, terracotta, Tuscan, and sand.

Rest collection by Josep Lluscà

The Rest collection is one of the novelties that the company will present at the exhibition next April. It is a collection of elegant armchairs designed for indoor use, with a natural, timeless, and updated image of a revisited classic. It is a collection intended for use in both residential and contract settings, including hospitality in general: hotels, restaurants, offices, libraries, waiting rooms, among other spaces.

Hub, a table collection available in three heights, with a non-strident aesthetic

The Hub collection is a new table collection designed by Joan Gaspar that RESOL will present at its booth. The new proposal offers different tabletop sizes in three different heights with the aim of expanding the catalog's offerings. Hub is characterized by its non-strident, quiet, and timeless aesthetic. Its simplicity, versatility, and uniqueness make it adaptable to any environment, while its traditional appearance adds a touch of classic elegance.

"Hub is a table system designed as a meeting point for people, which pairs perfectly with any type of chair," explains its designer Joan Gaspar. The formal continuity of the Hub collection allows its models to perfectly complement other Resol furniture collections, such as Bini, Woody, or Lisboa.

Expansion of the Anthea Collection Family

The Anthea Collection is one of the designer proposals that Resol will present in Milan. Designed by Monica Armani, Anthea is a family of outdoor furniture that includes sofas, tables, armchairs, chairs, and side tables. The range is completed with the integration of a high stool, which will be introduced to the market for the first time at the Salone del Mobile booth. The furniture in the Anthea Collection is characterized not only by its design but also by its materials and wide range of finishes in fabrics. The armchairs, sofas, chairs, and now the stool feature a lacquered aluminum structure, on which cushions and upholstery suitable for outdoor use rest.

The braided trim tape on the aluminum tubes forms the back of the seats, emphasizing the aesthetic power of the ensemble.
