Chairs and stools for the Spanish Diner Restaurant
Discover the chairs and stools for the Spanish Diner Restaurant, a project we carried out in the new restaurant of Spanish chef José Andrés in Bethesda, Maryland, on the outskirts of Washington DC. For us it was an honor to fill this space with life using our hotel furniture and to contribute to spreading Spanish talent beyond our borders.
A happy and fresh atmosphere
The Spanish Diner Restaurant is a cheerful, jovial and carefree space that, above all, invites you to stay and enjoy a trip to Spanish gastronomy. For this reason, for the furniture design, we chose the chairs and stools from the Woody collection, designed by Josep Lluscà. This line has a subtly vintage aroma, as a tribute to the classic wooden slatted chair, but it has updated finishes that make it a very versatile piece.
In the dining area, the Woody chairs, finished in ivory, with the same model finished in black. Both options have an orange upholstered seat, thus achieving a colorful contrast that brings freshness and positive energy. Instead, for the bar area, the Woody stools finished in ivory were chosen. Together with the chairs, they give a youthful and minimalist air to the space.

In this case, the furniture was placed inside the restaurant, although the chairs and stools from the collection Woody are also suitable for outdoors thanks to their manufacture of polypropylene with fiberglass and the UV protection that they incorporate. They are an ideal furniture model for restaurants, since they are light, resistant and easy to wash. Even the upholstery is suitable for outdoors and, in addition, they have quick-drying foam.
