"Design is the first signal of human intention”, said architect William McDonough.
At Resol, that intention becomes a philosophy, one that embraces the future without compromising on beauty, functionality, or responsibility. For us, designing means imagining a beautiful chair while also considering how it feels to the touch, how it weathers in the sun, how it’s transported and how it’s recycled.
Design as intention: our philosophy
Every idea in our furniture design process begins with a dialogue between nature and technology. Our product development team works closely with both local and international designers to transform concepts into tangible objects, pieces that meet real needs, speak the language of contemporary spaces, and respect the rhythms of the planet.
Though our furniture reaches homes and spaces across the globe, our roots remain deeply anchored in the Mediterranean. We design and manufacture locally, drawing on the resources of this unique region and letting its light, culture, and lifestyle inspire our work. For us, working from here isn’t just a strategic choice, it’s a conviction. We believe proximity enhances quality, reduces environmental impact, and strengthens human relationships across the value chain.
Our Green Edition collection is a clear example of this vision. Made from post-consumer recycled polypropylene, it shows that design can also be a tool for change. In a world where sustainability is no longer a luxury, Resol is committed to materials that extend product life cycles and to energy-efficient manufacturing processes, including the use of solar power at our factory.

International recognition
Our dedication to excellence, sustainability, and original design has earned us international recognition. Over the years, Resol furniture has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Silver ADI FAD Delta Award (2022 for the Bini chair and 2018 for Toledo Aire), the Good Design Award (Ikona 2019/2020), the iF Design Award (2021 for Angie and Anou), the Interior Innovation Award (Vela table, 2014), and the MIFF Platinum Award (Beekat 2013, Click-Clack 2014). These accolades celebrate not only the aesthetics of our products, but also their technical innovation and environmental commitment.
Behind every piece lies a deep commitment to quality, craftsmanship and innovation. From the initial idea to the final technical detail, every step of the process is carefully supervised to ensure high standards, while minimizing environmental impact—without ever compromising on beauty or durability.
The future of industrial furniture design lies in creating beauty with responsibility. And at Resol, we’re all in. Discover how choosing Resol means choosing a more conscious, human and functional world.
