Tables for hospitality
For dining rooms, terraces and bars. Designed and made in Les Preses, Girona.
A hospitality table is chosen on three things, almost always in this order: the height, the top and the base. The height decides whether people eat sitting down, have a drink standing up or relax; the top is what takes glasses, sun and daily cleaning; and the base decides how many people fit around it without tripping.
We work the three heights, low, dining and bar height, in square, rectangular and round formats. The tops are high pressure laminate (HPL) or injected polypropylene for outdoor use, and melamine for indoors; the frames are aluminium, steel or fibreglass reinforced polypropylene.
There are central base models, four leg models and models with a folding top to clear the terrace into less space. Every table has its technical sheet with the exact dimensions, and the Professional Area has the 2D, 3D and BIM files.

Frequently asked questions about hospitality tables
Which table should I choose for a restaurant, a bar or a terrace?
In a restaurant's dining room and terrace, the dining table with a top ready for daily use. At the bar and in standing areas, the high table, which goes with the stools. And in relaxing areas, the low table next to armchairs and sofas.
Capacity decides the format: the small square table is the most efficient for two diners and lets you push tables together, while large rectangular formats solve group tables without joining pieces.
What is high pressure laminate (HPL) and why is it used on terrace tables?
It is a technical high pressure top made for outdoor use: it is ready for damp, sun and the daily cleaning of a venue. That is why it is the top on most of our terrace tables.
Indoors, some models are also offered with a melamine top, which is not suitable for outdoor use. Each table's sheet states which top it has and where it can be used.
Central base or four legs?
A central base leaves the corners free, lets you seat more people around it and makes floor cleaning easier. Four legs give more stability in large formats.
On a terrace where chairs move a lot the central base usually wins; on group tables, four legs.
Do you have folding tables for terraces?
Yes. Some models have a folding system: the top folds down onto the base so tables can be stored at closing time in far less space, which is welcome on terraces that are cleared every night.
Are there tables to match the chairs and stools?
Can the tables be left outdoors all year round?
They are made for heavy outdoor use, but not for permanent exposure: they resist damp, sun and the weather, and even so the guarantee conditions advise against leaving them outdoors constantly and recommend storing them under cover when not in use.
We advise against environments with high salinity for pieces in wood, aluminium or stainless steel.
How is the top cleaned?
On high pressure laminate and melamine, with a damp non abrasive cloth and neutral soap, with no scourers or anything that could scratch the surface.
For stuck on dirt, clean water at moderate pressure and neutral detergent, drying well afterwards.
Where are they sold and can I order for a whole project?
Resol sells through distributors, and projects are handled by our sales team by area. Tell us what you need through the contact form and we will put you in touch with the person for your area.
For professional use we offer, on top of the legal guarantee, a 2 year commercial guarantee; the conditions are in the General Guarantee. The Professional Area has the 2D, 3D and BIM files and the catalogues.
